EU Advice and Information

This strand of MEHRP provides support to migrants in the West of Scotland who face barriers, such as lack of access to IT equipment, non-fluent English skills, as well as mental and physical health barriers to accessing services.

The strand’s primary focus is on providing information and advice on:

  • accessing benefits, including pension entitlements
  • housing
  • employment
  • understanding energy bills
  • voting
  • navigating life in Scotland

This is done through one-to-one appointments, either face-to face or over the phone.

We have staff that speak community languages, such as Polish, Lithuanian, and Russian.
